Dr. Martina McGowan Coming to Fables in Goshen

I'm honored to play a small role in an exciting poetry event happening in Goshen at Fables Books on Wednesday, April 24th at 7:00 p.m.

In celebration of National Poetry Month and Independent Bookstore Week, Fables will be hosting Dr. Martina McGowan, a nationally-read, award-winning poet who will read that evening from her second collection, "a sweeter song."

I will join local poets Nekeisha Alayna Alexis and Valerie Jairosi on a panel to discuss the significance of poetry with Dr. McGowan that evening.
