An Interview and Poem, 'Aspirations,' on The Dewdrop

As the advance orders period for Away comes to a close (one week left!), I am incredibly honored to have a poem from the book, 'Aspirations,' as well as an interview featured in The Dewdrop this week.

The poem is about some of my favorite role models – the cottonwood trees, and the interview centers around the book and my writing process.

For this, the final post in the series for the book’s launch, I want to thank everyone who read a post, clicked a link, or ordered the book. It means a great deal. I’m grateful for this opportunity to share a bit of what I am learning with you. The book will print and ship in July to those who ordered it. After that, it will be available through other venues as well.

These days, I’m writing about the remaking of concepts like prayer, belonging, faith, and mystery as I try to move deeper into love. Stay tuned for news about new writing out this spring.

I will conclude with the Franciscan sign-off I have adopted to communicate the kind of life I want to live into and extend to all of God’s beautiful creation, both human and non-human.

Peace and every good,

Jenna
